Officials are investigating a shooting incident that appears to be a hunting accident Saturday at the Upper Delta Wildlife Management Area, near the Stockton community in Baldwin County.

A news release from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said Thomas Catrett slipped while attempting to cross a creek and his gun went off, wounding his 28-year-old son Adam Catrett in the leg.
