Orange Beach is well known for it’s unique eateries. Every once in awhile, a restaurant pops up that quickly becomes a favorite among locals and a must-try for visitors. YoHo’s Rum and Tacos is getting more talk around town than most within it’s first few months of opening.
YoHo’s is the newest addition to The Wharf restaurants . From the owners of Villagio and Ginny Lane’s, longtime dining favorites also located at The Wharf, this restaurant is sure to impress anyone looking for an eclectic take on your average taco.
Begin your meal with classic fresh guacamole or homemade chips and salsa. If you’re looking to step out of the box, choose from more eccentric appetizers such as a lobster and shrimp quesadilla or coconut breaded Gulf of Mexico shrimp.
If you can make it through the appetizers without filling up, help yourself to one (or a few) of the wide selections of tacos on the menu. Chimi Churri Steak Taco topped with fried jalapenos and cojita cheese or the Fried Chicken Taco with Mexican slaw and poblano peppers are a few favorites. The menu also offers salads and a variety of entrees from shrimp n’ grits to blackened salmon and more.
What’s a taco without tequila? Fresh margaritas and mojitos are muddled with your choices of cucumber jalapeno, mango strawberry, grapefruit or traditional. End (or begin) your experience with a rum flight or a shot of tequila off of the tasty drink menu.
YoHo’s offers indoor and outdoor seating. The patio overlooks the Intracoastal canal and the boats docked at The Wharf Marina. The view is a rarity in Orange Beach and is a perfect spot to catch one of our famous sunsets!
Continue your evening at the YoHo Boat Bar which is located right outside the restaurant. Remember The Wharf is an entertainment district so you can get your drinks to go! Your perfect outing at The Wharf begins at YoHo’s!
